First Aid Courses

Regardless of your risk management procedures and training it is an accepted fact that at any given time colleagues and employees may be injured or taken ill at work. This will require adequate and appropriate first aid attention and it is at such times that we really rely on the help of a trained first aider.

The UK Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 require employers to provide 'adequate and appropriate equipment, facilities and personnel to enable first aid to be given to your employees if they are injured or become ill at work'. Choosing appropriate and competent first aid training is the employer’s responsibility. Our First aid training courses and services are compliant with guidance criteria provided to employers by the UK HSE. We offer Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (QCF),  Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (QCF), Level 2 Award in Paediatric First Aid (QCF) and a Level 2 Award in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automated External Defibrillation (QCF).  Adequate levels of training will depend on the circumstances and the results of risk assessments.

We are an approved training centre and all our first aid courses ensure that employers and organisations comply HSE requirements. Our first aid training sessions can be delivered at your own place of work or at suitable locations convenient for participants.

• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillation (AED) Course - Level 2 (1 day)
• First Aid at Work Annual Refresher Training Course (Half day)

Regardless whether you need the one day Emergency First Aid at Work or the 3 day First Aid at Work course, the requirements of the law state that you need qualified first aiders to provide first aid to employees and this includes people undertaking work experience or on training schemes.
